Our mission is simple....we seek to know God's love and make His love known...first in our hearts and our own homes and then spilling over to the people God has put around us. Often times, life can be lived backwards....everything "looks good" on the outside but the inside of our own hearts and homes can be in shambles. We all need a place where we can be vulnerable and real and share the ups and downs of life together.
Our core beliefs are also quite simple....We believe that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life and that the Bible is in fact God's Word. We don't want to just master Scripture in our minds. We want the Truth to penetrate our hearts and guide the way we live and experience life.
Our Vision has 2 parts: Missions and Multiplying...First, we want to discover a passion that we have in common for MISSIONS. We believe one of the fastest ways to build community and to bond as a church is to focus our attention and efforts on a particular MISSION. We have several projects in mind but we want to wait on God's lead before we proceed. If your heart is drawn towards a particular group or mission, please let us know. We are in the process of discovery so your thoughts are welcome and appreciated!
Secondly, we desire to MULTIPLY. If we begin to "outgrow" ourselves, we'd like to encourage and support others to do what we have done....gather a small group of people together in a home and facilitate another homechurch. You aren't limited by finances, leases, parking lots, needing a pastor, a nursery,etc. That is one of the many beauties of a homechurch...it is deliberately simple and completely organic. Keeping a small, intimate group is vital to truly experiencing life in Christ together in this dynamic way.
We'd also like to mention as a P.S. that even though we talk about this being a family style gathering time, we WELCOME people of all ages and stages of life. Please do not feel like this is only for families with children! That is not the case. Grace Fellowship Church is for anybody God draws here. Just wanted to make that clear!!! ;-)
